South West Mull & Iona Development (SWMID) is a not-for-profit community company that operate on the Isles of Mull and Iona. SWMID's activites are lead by their local community's needs and aspirations, and profits are used to support local projects and inititives. 

SWMID manage the Tiroran Community Forest, which has been owned by the local commmunity since 2015. Timber from the forest is sawn and sold locally at the Tiroran Timber Sawmill, keeping the value of their local timber within the community.
