Castlemilk and Corrie Estates is a long established traditional estate in Dumfries and Galloway of approximately 11,500ha. The estate is comprised of 50 farms, 300 residential properties and 2000ha of forestry. Forestry has always played a key role on the estate and there has been an in-house forestry department at Castlemilk for over a hundred years. Currently a team of 10 manage the estate’s woodlands and sawmill, which is predominately used to mill fencing material for use across the estate.
