You must pay your annual membership fee online with  GoCardless
GoCardless is regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority as an Authorised Payment Institution.

ASHS operate a system that aligns all membership subscriptions to the 4th April regardless of when they join.
This system makes it easier for the ASHS team to follow up members who haven't paid at the designated time and quickly check if there is a problem and try to resolve it.
It also simplifies the finances as all subscriptions come into the bank at the same time.

How It Works.
When you join you will be charged through Go Cardless for the full annual subscription fee relevant to your membership status.
Your 2nd annual subscription will be taken on the next 4th April and every year thereafter on the same date.
Your subscription for the second year will be reduced in proportion to the number of months after April that you joined. For instance, if you joined in September, then your second year subscription would be reduced to 12-5=7 months (i.e. 7/12 of the full annual subscription). This means that you only pay for the period when you recieve the benefits of membership.
We will arrange for Go Cardless to do this. They will inform you of changes which are made to your subscription in good time so that you can accept or cancel any changes should you wish.
